Aberdeen`s first Compulsory Kettlebell Training workshop took place last weekend (Sun. 12th October 2008) - and to a full house of AMAG members!
Essential mobility and bodyweight arrangements began the day before getting into the "swing" (ba-dum!) of the fundamental and core kettlebell exercises.
Working in teams of 3, everyone got the chance to swing, lift, pull and press the KB`s, spot and also dictate the key points they recently discovered to their partners.

The 26-strong class are now proficient in the kettlebell training essentials and we are looking forward to our first Combat Kettlebell class at AMAG this coming Friday! Well done everyone who attended!
(please remember, only people who have attended the workshop can come play at the Friday 6.15pm class!)

Posts to follow soon on forthcoming Compulsory Kettlebell Training workshops in Aberdeen.

It was an extremely informative and well presented workshop. Ray covered the fundamentals of KBs and of body mechanics in great detail. I look forward to continue learning and developing under his instruction. Well done Ray!

Great workshop Ray, was great to go over the fundamentals again.
The time and effort you have put in has definitely paid off and I cant wait to develop under your instruction.
This is a great workout for women, as it works all the muscle groups with out building bulk, just strength, tone and fitness, bring on the next class!
